March Music Madness

Happy first day of March! Spring is just around the corner and it’s looking bright, beautiful, and full of great music. The only thing that excites me more than the gorgeous weather is all of the awesome spring showcases that are on the horizon. This month isn’t just March Madness; it is also Music Madness in Nashville. There are a few great shows stopping through the Music City this month and these are my top picks.

Alternative
Grammy award-winning artists and more importantly my favorite band, Mumford and Sons are coming to Nashville, bringing their unique pop/folk/rock sound. Next week, they will be playing not one, but three back to back shows (March 6-8) at the historic Ryman Auditorium. Tickets for this show are $45+ but since this band is nothing short of amazing, tickets for all three shows are sold out. Luckily, I already got mine!
Shows Start at 7:30pm

Wick It the Instigator is known for putting on a great high energy live show. His mixes are being used by other popular DJs such as Bassnectar and Mimosa and they are also available for free download on his Soundcloud page. He will be at Mercy Lounge on Thursday, March 29. Check back to the Events Calendar weekly. I will update it as new events pop up. Let me know if you know of any great music events I’m missing. Now go out and be social.
